Is Disney SELLING Star Wars BACK TO LUCAS??
No.
But the angry nerdbros of YouTube have persuaded themselves it’s a fact because one of them made it up and the others have repeated it so often they now all believe.
I certainly won’t be suprised when Disney do sell Star Wars. That’s the point of a Corporate Entertainment Franchise. To be bought and sold like any other business.
The plan doesn’t work for art though. And yes, Star Wars is art. But it hasn’t been very good art under Disney, at least until the suprise that was Andor came along.
