The Acolyte is good Star Wars

for twelve year olds.

And older folks may well like it too. But Disney have finally, after failed movies and shows, and billions wasted, succeeded in making Star Wars for their target demographic

Andor was Star Wars for middled aged men. And it was truly brilliant.

Finally, Disney allowed Star Wars to grow up to meet the kids who watched A New Hope in ‘77.

Who are now in their fifties and sixties!

But the Disney bureaucrats don’t care if we watch Star Wars. We aren’t rushing to buy Andor action figures or play the MMO.

The Acolyte is every bit as good at being Star Wars for twelve year olds as Andor is at being Star Wars for forty somethings.

But the real question is — how long can Star Wars be both?
